Berkeley is a vibrant and diverse city in the East Bay and has some of the best panoramic views in the entire Bay Area. Berkeley has a mix of neighborhoods, ranging from incredibly peaceful tree lined residential neighborhoods to the hustle and bustle of the city’s more urban areas. The Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District bus lines, Downtown Berkeley BART station or Ashby BART station offer quick commute options to downtown San Francisco. Berkeley is the perfect location for undergraduate or graduate students as it is home to UC Berkeley and can easily be accessed with a short ride by bike, transit or car.
